Here is a chronicle of emails, discussions on Marin Headland:
December 7th-9th we will go on a trip to the Marin Headlands, Golden Gate National Recreation Area http://www.nps.gov/goga/index.htm . We will explore cool abandoned military bunkers. Play games in the hillside batteries where the big guns once roared. Spend the night at a cozy youth hostel http://norcalhostels.org/marin/ and play board games with your friends. Maybe you’ll even get a chance to see the installation from which the famous Nike missiles were launched (still confirming this with the park) http://www.nps.gov/goga/nike-missile-site.htm. Other possible activities (depending on time) are listed below.
The tour leader for the campout is Mr. Hershberger so please notify him if your plans change.
