On the 15th we collected a total of 7,448 items for Scouting-For-Food. A small group then went to Ed Levin County Park for a one-night campout in beautiful weather and an excellent Teriyaki Chicken dinner.

After distributing Scouting-for-Food bags on the 8th the Troop’s youth leaders travelled to Los Moches for Troop Leader Training. For dinner each of the four patrols that took part were provided a number ingredients. Each group used their creativity to prepare some great meals that the adults were invited to share. A little rain did not hamper or diminish the fun as everyone made banana boats for dessert.
