Troop Leadership Training (TLT) – Los Mochos
October 5, 2007

The troop congregated at the school at 7:00. We did the standard pack the trailer and car arrangements. Then we set off. When we arrived to Los Mochos, we were lucky that we didn’t have to hike/pack in all of the gear. We got to drive the gear in. Once the trailer was unloaded, we were taken to our respective campsites. We set up tents and then

The next morning, scouts awoke and then told to go back to sleep because they were awake too early. When everyone finally did awake, they had to move picnic tables up the hill, and get their food. The adults bought and gave us our food, instead of us buying it. We ate breakfast and then went down to the presentation area where Mr. Androwsky gave a presentation, followed by EDGE. Then we did an obstacle course. Next was lunch and we had to retrieve the mystery ingredients from the adults. After lunch we had more presentations and games until dinner. Dinner was turkey and stuffing. It was amazing. Next we made cobbler and then took it down to the “campfire” which was a lantern next to a fire ring. There were many skits and afterwards we got to eat the cobbler. There wasn’t enough time for CTF so we went to bed.

When we woke up, we took the tents down and then got breakfast of muffins and cereal. We did the standard trash sweep and campsite check. Then we loaded up the trailer, did scout’s service, and went home.
