November is the month when we collect food for the Alameda County Food Bank as part of the Scouting-For-Food drive. This year after distributing bags on the 11th we departed for a camp out at Ranch Los Moches. It was cold and water actually froze in the fire bucket.

The following weekend we collected the food bags. We collected a total of 3064 items (2279 cans, 95 glass/plastic containers and 690 dry goods. After the bag pickup the troop conducted an Junior Leader Training class at Los Moches for the newly elected and appointed youth leaders.
