“We love to go a-wandering” as the song goes, and that is just what we did on a warm June 25th as a band of red shirted scouts hiked their way up Mission Peak. The cooling fog had lifted only a half-hour before we started so the sun was already giving promise of “a hot one”. Armed with water bottles, platypus or camelback water systems, and lunch, 12 Scouts and 11 adults began the trek from Ohlone Collage to the top of Mission Peak and back.
On the 19th the troop did a “Good Turn” at Warm Springs School by improving the grounds with a new walkway and some landscaping work.
On the 5th we held our last Court of Honor for the school year. Nine scouts received rank advancements and six received Merit Badges.
