On the 28th – 30th a group of 19 scouts made the longggggg trip to Ed Levin Park and Sandy Wool Lake. In addition to working on numerous advancement requirements the scouts put the troops canoes and catamaran to good use.

Troop 103 was honored to receive the Distinguished Unit Award at the Mission Peak District Recognition Dinner on May 27th; we were one of only three troops in the district to be so honored. In addition five of our adult leaders were also recognized for their service to scouting.

Eight scouts went rappelling on the 15th at Mt. Diablo. This was the first chance for the troop to use our new equipment. The scouts all had a great time and are looking forward to doing it again.
