Sixteen scouts attended a campout designed for 7 of our new Scouts at Camp Herms on the 15th – 17th. In addition to earning their Scout Badges and Tot’in Chit cards, the scouts also went to the BB Gun range, and built a 65′ long Monkey Bridge. A Great Campout enjoyed by all!

On Saturday the 9th, four Webelos from Pack 272 crossed the bridge at Sunol Regional Park to become members of Troop103. Welcome to the adventure guys.

New Melones Reservoir was the destination for 14 scouts on May 1-3. Our flotilla consisted or our troop canoes, our 13′ catamaran, and Mr. Loyd’s power boat–all craft were well used by the scouts. After rowing to a small island several scouts tried their hand at fishing. Dan H. managed to catch a small Bass on his second cast–he released it so it would be bigger the next time we visit here. We even found time for two scouts to complete an orienteering course that ours leaders set up for this purpose. By all accounts a great weekend.
