Troop 103 runs a parking lot as a fund raiser during the Niles Antique Fair and Flea Market on the last Sunday in August. This year the event occurred on the 31st. Some members of the Troop were out on Saturday afternoon to get set up and then camped out that night to be ready for the 6:00 a.m. opening. After the event on Sunday afternoon we all met in the park for a Potluck/Barbecue before we joined the other troops for the cleanup of the downtown streets.
On Saturday the 9th, our Troop Sponsor (The Warm Springs Rotary Club) invited the troop to join them at an Oakland A’s Game. Nineteen scouts and parents attended. At the before game tailgate party we made Peach Cobbler for the Rotary members while they provided hot food. During the game we all got to see Mr. Raboy and his visiting dad dance on the big screen during the seventh inning stretch. We tried to get the video for this page but didn’t succeed–you’ll have to take our word for it that Mr. Raboy is a ‘great’ dancer.
